random question: what was that website that you could plug a book into and it would show you all the online stores it was available at in your country?

i know i’ve used it before but I can’t for the life of me remember what it was called and just don’t have the energy to go hunting for it lol help?

I found it!

BookFinder.com

you can set your country and your currency and it searches the entire internet for places where a book is available to buy 😊

Jonathan Harker’s Journal, May 16, continued.

“I awoke in my own bed. If it be that I had not dreamt, the Count must have carried me here.”

“ Of one thing I am glad: if it was that the Count carried me here and undressed me, he must have been hurried in his task, for my pockets are intact.”

So yeah, there was no way I wasn’t gonna draw the campest possible take on this scene. The Brides are not at ALL pleased at being fangblocked by the Count, and are probably going to leave half a deer in his bed as payback.

I can’t stop thinking of the baby that Dracula fed to the brides. Like, that was someone’s baby. When Jonathan saw Dracula skittering out of the castle in the last entry, we all laughed, but he was probably out on his way to steal that baby from a local family- maybe even from someone who had given Jonathan protective gifts just days before. Which means that, for all the peasants’ fears of Jonathan going to Dracula’s castle, they’re still not safe even if they live far away from it, because that baby sure as hell didn’t make its way to the castle and knock on the door by itself.

And imagine being the baby.

Dracula Daily Eat-Along May 16

Following this Dracula Food Guide, we will (try) to eat along with the story (while listening to Re:Dracula).

Today: A jelly baby

Slowly we are getting to the more gruesome foods. We do not have Jelly Babies here, so I thought I’d try baking a German Weckmann / Stutenkerl / Dampedei / … It did not turn out too pretty though.

Jack Seward and Mina Harker stand around the phonograph on Jack's desk. The room is dark and cluttered, with books and cups and medical paraphernalia crowding the shelves, and a window illuminates the figures. Mina is pale but rosy, with dark brown hair. She wears a blouse and dark blue skirt and she holds Jack's arm excitedly. Jack is very pale with lighter brown hair. He is wearing a dark blue waistcoat and a red necktie. He is smiling, showing Mina the phonographALT

“Why, this beats even shorthand! May I hear it say something?”

a commission of jack and mina from the scene where he’s showing her the phonograph!
